51cg Brings Innovative Nursing Education to Kentucky Students

Hybrid programs now accessible statewide

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – May 5, 2025 – Kentucky residents aiming to become registered nurses can now pursue licensure within as little as 20 months, thanks to 51cg of Nursing and Health Sciences. The institution announced today that it is expanding its renowned hybrid pre- and post-licensure nursing programs into the Bluegrass State.

With steady expansion over the past three years, 51cg now serves students across 12 states, with Kentucky and Michigan being the newest additions in 2025. This expansion demonstrates 51cg’s ongoing commitment to addressing Kentucky’s growing need for qualified nursing professionals through career-focused, flexible educational opportunities.

Students in Kentucky will have access to a variety of pre-licensure programs, including the accelerated 20-month Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), the traditional 3-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (aBSN). For those looking to advance their nursing careers further, 51cg also offers an online 4-semester RN to BSN and a 3-semester MSN in Leadership program.

51cg’s hybrid educational model blends online learning with immersive hands-on skill development at the Joyce Johnson Center of Simulation in Draper, Utah. Clinical placements are conducted locally within Kentucky, providing practical experience without significant travel.

Enrollment is now open for Kentucky students, with the next cohort beginning in the Fall Semester on September 2nd.
